Welcome to St Petersfield

St Petersfield is a dynamic new business quarter located within half a mile of both Ashton-under-Lyne town centre and Junction 23 of the M60 Motorway. It is being developed by Ask Property Developments, in partnership with Tameside MBC, North West Regional Development Agency and English Partnerships, who together have invested £14 million of public sector finance to regenerate this historic market town in a 400,000 sq ft £42 million project.

Over £1.75 million of this investment will go into public realm works to ensure a landscaped environment of the highest quality for occupiers.

Planning permission granted for Tameside College’s ‘Knowledge Mill’ at St Petersfield

Tameside will have its first knowledge mill for business entrepreneurs now plans have been granted for the next phase of Ask Development’s scheme at St Petersfield in Ashton.

One of four applications granted to Ask Developments by Tameside MBC, K1/K2 covers a total 86,300 sq ft, with Tameside College taking 7,000 sq ft for the Knowledge Mill and 114 units within the building.

The Knowledge Mill will be an enterprise and training facility that will provide a place where people and companies can come and develop business ideas in a business creation unit, similar to the enterprise programmes already offered at Ask Development’s scheme at One Central Park. Plans include open plan meeting rooms, dedicated lecture rooms, a reception and office space. There will also be an Enterprise Laboratory where lessons learnt in the classroom could be put in to practice in a safe, supportive environment as people’s businesses get up and running.

Go ahead for niche business units and 'knowledge mill' at St Petersfield

Plans have been approved by Tameside Council for 113 new business suites set within two blocks together with a unique ‘knowledge mill’ at Ask Development’s £42m St Petersfield scheme in Ashton-under-Lyne.

Set within blocks K1 and K2 on Stamford Street West, the serviced office buildings totalling 86,300 sq ft will consist of 113 units, each of 500 sq ft in size.

Around 7,000 sq ft of space on the ground floor has already been pre-let to Tameside College for a unique ‘knowledge mill’ and an additional 2,280 sq ft coffee shop.
