St. Petersfield was masterplanned by the late Andy Robson, a renowned Manchester architect who created many of the city’s landmark buildings. His concept was to overlay the new office development on Ashton’s existing Georgian street pattern, creating a new environment of enduring character.

Totalling c.320,000 sq ft, predominantly for business use, St. Petersfield will also include important amenities comprising shops, cafe bars and restaurants alongside two refurbished pubs and the residential apartments being developed by Ask Life.

The office development will become available in several phases with space from 1,000 sq ft up to 40,000 sq ft with dedicated secure parking provided for business occupiers. The competitive financial terms at St. Petersfield have been made possible by a £14 million investment by English Partnerships, Northwest Regional Development Agency and Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council. Over £1.75 million of this investment will ensure a landscaped environment of the highest quality, creating a real sense of place for occupiers.

The new public realm fronting the Law Courts in Henry Square, with its fountains, lawned area, manicured trees and seating, stands comparison with anything the regional capital Manchester can offer.
