St Petersfield Wins CIVIC award
 THE first phase of Ask Development’s St. Petersfield scheme in Ashton has been announced as Building of the Year 2006.
Ashton-under-Lyne Civic Society selected the 48,000 sq ft building at 225 Old Street, Ashton, as their award-winning building and praised it for its design and role in helping to regenerate the area.
Ask Developments is developing St Petersfield, the new urban business quarter for Ashton and pre-let 22,000 sq ft of the 48,000 sq ft building to Pennine Care NHS Trust, who have occupied the building since August, with the remaining 33,000 sq ft developed speculatively. The building was bought by Prestigic Holdings in 2006.

St Petersfield's first new office development completed
Ask Developments, the company developing St Petersfield in partnership with Tameside Council, has today announced practical completion of the first major office building at the new urban business quarter in Ashton-under-Lyne, Tameside.
Completed on schedule, the 55,000 sq ft office building on Stamford Street West will be partly occupied by Pennine Care NHS Trust which will take 26,000 sq ft of space for its new headquarters.
The other 29,000 sq ft is being developed speculatively.
The Trust will be relocating to their new premises later this month enabling plans for a major redevelopment of the Tameside Hospital site to proceed and will use the headquarters to bring together key functions such as human resources, finance, estates and risk management departments.

Phase 1 completes this summer with a stylish new office building of 49,000 sq ft net, of which 27,850 sq ft has already been pre-let to Pennine Care NHS Trust. The remainder is available speculatively and will include café and restaurant uses on parts of the ground floor.
Elsewhere on the scheme a further 40,000 sq ft has been pre-sold to Tameside and Glossop Primary Care Trust for a Medical Resource Centre, while in future phases 60 apartments are also planned along with more offices, bar/restaurants and a crèche.
